Shop / Guided Trip Update: 

The update that we're most stoked about- we're fully licensed and permitted for guided trips! Spring is here early af this year, and fishing is good now. Give us a call if you want to get out!

Shop Hours-

Monday-Saturday 9-6:30

Sunday 10-5:50

We're getting new stuff and new brands in all the time. Flies are stocked, the tying material selection is growing, and our first Skwala order will be in the shop soon. 

Weekly fly tying night is still going, every Thursday 5:30-8:30. Come hang out! 

Taylor River: 60.7 CFS

Midge and BWO hatch. 

Dry Flies: Mole fly and midge cluster patterns / Baetis emerger or cripple patterns in size small (18-22) you can always fish these dries 2' plus behind a larger sz 16 dry fly as a sighter.

Nymphs: Purple or Black Juju Baetis / Chocolate thunder / RS2 / Pavel's Mysis

Gunnison River: 340 CFS

Water level and clarity will vary in the next couple weeks based off the weather. The current flow on the Gunnison River is perfect for wade angling the nymph bite has been great and some awesome fish are being caught.

Flies: Juju Baetis & Zebra Midges in Sz 18 -20 / Pats Rubber Leg Coffee / san juan worms sz worm.

Olive or Black Sex Dungeons have been producing a good bite as well.

East Portal: 330 CFS

The road opened a few weeks ago and the fishing has been great. Deep nymph rigs will be the most productive method for now.

Flies: Pats Rubber Legs / Egg colored eggs / Floss Worm / Baetis perdigons /  Black two bit hooker
