THE SALMON ARE COMING, THE SALMON ARE COMING!!

As fall starts stalking us (it was 45 degrees when I got up this morning) the first signs of salmon are in the Gunnison and it won't be long before the brown's start to spawn. Hopper droppers with rainbow warriors or flashy purple perdigons have been the ticket on the lower Gunnison, two-bit hookers in red are more productive near Almont. Red San Juan worms will work for the Kokanee, make sure you get them all the way to the bottom as that's where they will be hanging out. Swing by for a full report and don't forget to get your fall float and wade trips booked asap!!
